A cloudy sky and a few gusts of wind didn’t deter sixteen enthusiastic passengers from helping the ground crew to prepare our large blue hot air balloon G-CENX for inflation. When the weather improved as the forecast had predicted and the pilot was happy, three of our passengers helped the crew hold the crown lines as G-CENX was inflated with cold air. Passengers stood and watched in amazement as she took on her enormous size and once the air inside had been heated she stood proudly above the basket awaiting her passengers.

It was a cloudy, windy start to Friday 8th August 2008, many passengers were surprised at check in when they were told that forecasters were suggesting that conditions were likely to be suitable for ballooning that evening. And they were right as both of our hot air balloons took to the skies!
